Mandarin/Malay to English Interpreters

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Deliver precise and prompt interpretation services between patients and healthcare professionals.

• Execute both simultaneous and consecutive interpreting tasks.

• Ensure the accurate application of medical terminology.

• Promote effective and culturally sensitive communication in medical environments.

• Provide interpretation support in both legal and medical contexts.

• Engage in OPI/VRI or prearranged appointments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in Mandarin or Malay as well as English.

• At least 3 months of experience in professional interpretation.

• Demonstrated proficiency in medical or legal fields.

• Availability for OPI/VRI or scheduled sessions.

• Exceptional listening, note-taking, and memory retention abilities.

• Professional setup compliant with HIPAA regulations.

• Wired USB headset equipped with noise cancellation features.

• Minimum internet speeds of 10 Mbps upload and 20 Mbps download.
