Mandarin Speaking Mental Health Therapist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Provide exceptional virtual therapy utilizing evidence-based methods such as MI, CBT, ACT, and DBT

• Utilize the collaboration portal to engage with and assist students

• Collaborate closely with campus treatment providers, supervisors, and colleagues to ensure integrated care

• Keep timely and accurate records of clinical interactions

• Partner with administrative support to improve student care from initial outreach through to resource provision

• Work with leadership during critical patient situations

• Learn and implement Mantra Health’s care model to assist college students and enhance therapeutic skills

⛳️ Requirements

• Bilingual in English and Mandarin is mandatory

• Must hold an active independent clinical license (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LMHC-D) in New York

• Willingness to obtain additional state licenses is required

• Capable of conducting comprehensive biopsychosocial intakes with clear diagnostic evaluations

• Ability to integrate conceptual insights into suitable treatment plans

• Experience in treating a diverse group of students with respect and empathy

• Competent in identifying and managing escalating risk situations effectively

• Must have a laptop or desktop computer equipped with a quality video camera

• Reliable internet connection is essential

• Availability of at least 8 hours per week during the academic year
