Managing Director – Resilience Advisory

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the delivery of MOXFIVE’s recurring resilience service, MOXGUARD.

• Establish the delivery operating framework, which includes service definitions, playbooks, tools, SLAs, onboarding guides, and standardized templates.

• Create the service catalog and delivery methodology for each service tier.

• Ensure quality by reviewing deliverables, mentoring client-facing judgment, and setting quality standards.

• Develop an onboarding process that enables new clients to achieve first value swiftly.

• Create and maintain capacity and cost-to-deliver models, including advisor-to-client ratios and utilization targets.

• Comprehend delivery economics for each service tier and influence upstream pricing strategies.

• Implement the model to identify margin issues as early indicators.

• Recruit, nurture, and retain proactive advisors.

• Establish a reliable ramp-up path for new advisors to achieve a full client load.

• Foster a culture of accountability, craftsmanship, and disciplined execution of playbooks.

• Collaborate with Product on roadmap prioritization and automation that reduces delivery costs.

• Partner with Sales and Technical Sales for scoping discipline and pre-sales assistance.

• Work with Delivery and Operations to translate service quality into outcomes that encourage client renewals.

• Integrate field insights into product, marketing, and sales strategies.

• Maintain close relationships with clients through anchor accounts, escalations, and situations that require senior-level involvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• 7–12+ years of experience in MSP, MSSP, vCISO, or managed advisory delivery.

• Minimum of 3 years managing a delivery organization, not just a single team.

• Experience in building a service from scratch into a repeatable, documented, and marketable offering.

• Proven ownership of delivery economics and cost modeling within a managed services context.

• Experience in a hybrid model that combines a technology platform with human resources.

• Client-facing advisory experience adequate for coaching others and leading discussions when required.

• An operator’s mindset centered on processes, measurement, and margin discipline.

• Bonus: experience at a cybersecurity services firm, VAR, or MSSP with recurring revenue streams.

• Bonus: familiarity with EOS or a similar operating system, including Scorecards, Rocks, and IDS.

• Bonus: knowledge of NIST CSF, MITRE ATT&CK, CIS Controls, or CISA Secure by Design.

• Bonus: a history of reducing your necessity in delivery over time.
