This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Spearhead MGT's initiation, market validation, revenue growth, marketplace expansion, and daily operational leadership.
• Direct strategy, commercial execution, partnerships, marketplace advancement, and operational performance.
• Convert customer and market insights into product priorities, release schedules, and quantifiable results.
• Supervise technical teams and vendors, including roadmap execution, quality assurance, releases, support, uptime, and service standards.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, cost control, vendor relations, risk management, and cash-flow discipline.
• Assemble a streamlined, high-performance team across product, technology, sales, partnerships, customer success, and operations.
• Cultivate relationships with dealers, distributors, industry partners, customers, and enthusiast communities.
• Establish acquisition channels for buyers, sellers, dealers, advertisers, and strategic partners.
• Define the operating strategy, market positioning, priorities, pricing, revenue model, and go-to-market approach.
• Implement weekly KPIs, monthly reports, forecasting, scorecards, project plans, risk logs, decision documentation, and transparent leadership updates.
• Deliver a mutually agreed 6- to 12-month plan encompassing product, revenue, marketing, staffing, operational costs, and scaling efforts.
• Propel commercial launch activities, platform readiness, listing growth, revenue, gross margin, marketplace engagement, conversion, retention, and customer satisfaction.
• Currently engaged in power sports, automotive, recreation, e-commerce, marketplace, brokerage, dealership, or a closely related sector.
• Demonstrated entrepreneurial success as a founder, owner-operator, independent consultant, Managing Director, General Manager, or senior executive.
• Proven track record in generating revenue, attracting customers or partners, and delivering exceptional results without relying on a fixed salary.
• Existing market relationships, audience access, client opportunities, domain expertise, or other commercial assets.
• Capability to establish repeatable systems, delegate tasks, develop a team, and scale beyond solopreneurship.
• Successful history in revenue generation, partnerships, customer acquisition, conversion, retention, and commercial execution.
• Product and technical proficiency, including experience collaborating with software teams, contractors, or vendors.
• Strong financial, KPI management, forecasting, contract negotiation, and operational management skills.
• Good judgment, transparency, resilience, and comfort in being evaluated based on revenue, margin, cash flow, marketplace activity, and execution milestones.
• Experience with marketplaces, trading platforms, dealer networks, fundraising, contractor-led teams, or performance-based compensation is a plus.
• A collaborative environment aimed at helping skilled operators establish stronger independent businesses.
• Strategic planning, leadership support, accountability frameworks, and access to fellow Managing Directors.
• Access to shared capabilities, which may include finance and administration, marketing, technology, systems, business development, and other group resources.
• Opportunities for collaboration, referrals, and inter-company support where strategically beneficial.
• Performance-driven compensation and potential ownership through clearly defined agreements.
• Agreed commissions, revenue sharing, gross-margin participation, project or delivery income, profit sharing, or milestone compensation.
• Potential equity or other ownership interests through milestone-based vesting.
• Reimbursement of pre-approved business expenses in accordance with the written agreement.
