Managing Director, Complex Accounting, Litigation – CPA Required

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Lead, mentor, and develop junior team members in both client work and business development.

• Cultivate a collaborative, high-performance culture that emphasizes quality, innovation, and exceptional client service.

• Manage and execute projects across various disciplines, including intricate investigations related to regulatory inquiries, forensic accounting, litigation consulting, and expert witness services.

• Oversee the creation of client deliverables such as reports, presentations, data visualizations, and testimonies.

• Act as a senior contact for clients, ensuring outstanding service delivery and providing strategic insights.

• Enhance your portfolio and aid in the growth of the Complex Accounting & Litigation practice.

• Formulate and execute go-to-market strategies in collaboration with internal stakeholders.

• Establish and nurture relationships with law firms, regulators, financial institutions, and corporate clients.

• Represent J.S. Held at industry events, conferences, and client engagements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 15 years of relevant experience in areas such as auditing, CFO roles, regulatory or standard setting, forensic accounting, litigation consulting, and expert witness services.

• Certified Public Accountant or equivalent qualification.

• Demonstrated experience in delivering high-quality client services and the capability to work within and lead a team.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex findings into clear, actionable insights.

• Strong organizational abilities and adeptness at managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
