This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee and coordinate all dimensions of small to medium-sized client projects as well as specific components of larger initiatives.

• Direct Revenue Cycle programs covering Patient Access, HIM/Coding, Charge Capture, Revenue Integrity, Denials/Underpayments Management and Recovery, and Patient Financial Services.

• Drive enhancements in operational and financial performance, which includes minimizing DNFB and A/R days, expediting cash flow, boosting insurance verification and Medicaid eligibility conversions, enhancing timely claim submissions, preventing denials and collection inefficiencies, managing vendor relationships, and reducing bad debt.

• Conduct current-state assessments, quantify opportunities, and provide actionable recommendations.

• Develop project charters, work plans, realization schedules, benefit tracking tools, client deliverables, work products, and transition planning documents.

• Assign tasks, guide and monitor team progress, and evaluate work outcomes.

• Create analyses and financial models utilizing transactional and/or financial data.

• Establish and maintain benefit realization models and track project performance against operational and financial objectives.

• Produce client deliverables and contribute to practice-related articles and whitepapers.

• Maintain senior-level client relationships and effectively communicate results and deliverables to executive stakeholders.

• Utilize relevant software tools, analytical techniques, and computer models to devise solutions.

• Engage in practice meetings, business development activities, staff training, and recruitment.

• Comply with project budgets and timelines while achieving goals and deadlines.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (e.g., BS, BBA, MBA, MHA, M.A., M.S., etc.) with a preferred concentration in Management, Accounting, Finance, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Relevant industry certification is preferred (e.g., CRCR, CHFP, CHAM, CRCE-I, CRCE-P, etc.).

• 5-8+ years of experience in the healthcare industry or consulting, specifically in Revenue Cycle operations, including performance improvement, process re-engineering, revenue management, and recovery strategies.

• In-depth operational knowledge of Revenue Cycle functions such as Patient Access, HIM/Coding, Charge Capture, Revenue Integrity, Denials/Underpayments Management and Recovery, or Patient Financial Services.

• Proven project management experience and success in contributing to assessments and project implementations.

• Experience utilizing revenue cycle technologies, automation tools, AI-driven workflows, and analytics platforms.

• Capability to draft work plans, project budgets, timelines, and deliverables.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively manage team and client relationships.

• Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.

• Proficiency in presenting findings and recommendations to Vice Presidents, CFOs, Revenue Cycle Executives, and other senior healthcare leaders.

• Ability to thrive in a high-performance, fast-paced team environment.

• Demonstrated ability to lead project teams, mentor junior consultants, and oversee multiple concurrent workstreams.

• High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and Outlook.

• Familiarity with Epic, Cerner, Allscripts, MEDITECH, and Athena/IDX is preferred.

• Willingness to travel extensively (50%–80%).

• Must be able to provide proof of legal eligibility to work in the U.S., without company sponsorship.
