Managing Consultant – Oracle Cloud Supply Chain Planning

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Oversee numerous complex consulting projects of mid-to-large size.

• Provide expert consulting to clients utilizing Oracle Supply Chain Planning knowledge and industry best practices.

• Work alongside project teams and client personnel to create, test, and deploy Oracle Cloud solutions.

• Refine, document, and present client requirements for approval.

• Address challenges related to product implementation and integration.

• Examine existing systems and data to pinpoint requirements and potential enhancements.

• Create unit test scripts and coordinate client User Acceptance Testing.

• Collaborate with Oracle to address service requests.

• Direct requirements workshops, analysis, design, configuration, and development for Oracle Supply Chain Planning applications.

• Manage Conference Room Pilots, User Acceptance Testing, preparation for go-live, cut-over assistance, and post-production support.

• Formulate and execute long-term strategies for clients.

• Serve as the main point of contact for clients, providing updates on project status, challenges, and changes.

• Evaluate client goals, challenges, and technology needs.

• Counsel clients on technology solutions and tools.

• Collaborate with third-party vendors and suppliers, negotiating agreements.

• Deliver ongoing technical support post-implementation.

• Monitor solution performance and suggest improvements, updates, upgrades, or modifications.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline such as Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, etc.

• At least 10 years of experience as an Oracle functional consultant.

• Over 3 years of experience in implementing Oracle Cloud Supply Chain Planning applications.

• Familiarity with one or more of the following: Demand Management, Supply Planning, Sales & Operations Planning, Replenishment Planning, Global Order Promising, Backlog Management, Production Scheduling.

• Strong consulting and business analytical capabilities.

• Proven experience in gathering and documenting business requirements.

• Experience leading fit-gap analysis and designing business processes.

• Skilled in managing CRP/PRT and testing processes, including BPT, IST, SIT, and UAT.

• Demonstrated ability to guide clients through improvements in business processes.

• Capacity to lead a team, work independently, and juggle multiple assignments effectively.

• Previous experience in leading or managing projects.

• Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, presentation, and communication skills.

• Proficient in drafting functional specifications based on user requirements.

• Ability to independently manage client expectations.

• Proficient in MS Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

• Consulting experience in a similar role within a professional services firm or strategic-level industry experience is preferred.
