This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North America.

📋 Description

• Oversee a team of consultants and engineers who provide network automation solutions for clients.

• Foster the professional and technical growth of team members.

• Comprehend and convey the business value of client solutions to both internal and external stakeholders.

• Articulate network architecture and automation design decisions to clients and engineering teams.

• Facilitate meetings with technical and leadership stakeholders.

• Manage relationships with clients and team members.

• Mentor and align client stakeholders, change agents, and team members regarding the soft-technical aspects of projects.

• Collaborate with Engagement Managers and senior leadership throughout the various stages of project lifecycles.

• Assist teams in identifying and resolving both technical and non-technical obstacles.

• Contribute to guiding Network to Code's strategic direction alongside senior leadership.

• Cultivate high-performing teams through employee development, retention, and recruitment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to simplify complex concepts and present them effectively to diverse audiences, ranging from engineers to senior executives.

• Ability to switch contexts and manage multiple projects at once with ease.

• Experience in a client-facing role.

• Proven track record in managing high-performing teams.

• History of delivering successful projects in large and demanding environments.

• Familiarity with network data management concepts, including Source of Truth strategies, NetBox, CMDB, and YAML variables.

• Knowledge of traditional Git workflows.

• Networking expertise (CCNA or equivalent certification).

• Experience with Ansible and/or Python for automating networking devices.

• Experience with demonstrations and/or public speaking is a plus.

• Familiarity with CI/CD practices applied to network automation is a bonus.

• Knowledge of Flask/Django for creating custom APIs is a bonus.

• Familiarity with pytest, Nornir, Netmiko, NAPALM, Batfish, Salt, or Robot Framework is a bonus.
