Manager, VBC Analytics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Examine intricate provider, claims, financial, and operational data for negotiations, renewals, and new provider arrangements related to value-based care.

• Create and uphold SQL queries, reports, dashboards, and analytical models.

• Assist in the administration and ongoing management of value-based care agreements, encompassing implementation, financial reconciliations, performance monitoring, payment support, and issue resolution.

• Collaborate with Network, Health Plan, Value-Based Care Strategy, and cross-functional teams.

• Recognize opportunities to enhance provider performance and contract efficiency.

• Convert complex data into business insights and actionable recommendations for stakeholders and leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of pertinent professional experience in healthcare analytics, finance, value-based care, provider contracting, or a related area.

• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.

• Capacity to handle multiple priorities, swiftly adapt to shifting business needs, and work effectively in a fast-paced setting.

• Outstanding organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to independently drive workstreams while collaborating across both internal and external stakeholder groups.

• Experience in developing and executing SQL queries in BigQuery, SQL Server (SSMS/T-SQL), or similar database systems.

• Proficient in converting, optimizing, and validating SQL-based analyses, queries, and stored procedures in cloud-based analytics environments.

• Ability to convey complex analytical results to both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership.

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business, Finance, Healthcare Administration, Economics, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
