Manager, Value Analysis

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Engage in the system-wide, physician-led Value Analysis initiative.

• Evaluate product functionality and cost across the Clinical Spend spectrum using data on cost, quality, and patient outcomes.

• Identify opportunities while ensuring quality and outcomes are maintained or enhanced.

• Recognize key stakeholders and build lasting relationships.

• Regularly interact with C-suite executives.

• Form multidisciplinary Value Analysis teams.

• Educate, guide, manage, and onboard Value Analysis analysts, project managers, or coordinators.

• Provide education and orientation for client Value Analysis Team members regarding processes and roles.

• Work collaboratively with Value Analysis Team Chairs, Champions, and members.

• Prepare Value Analysis Committee Chairpersons and ensure ongoing follow-up.

• Facilitate consensus among clinical stakeholders, address barriers, and finalize clinical product cross-matches.

• Analyze clinical spend landscapes, Spend Advisor, ERP reports, and new item reports to discover opportunities.

• Collaborate with Premier colleagues to offer One Premier solutions tailored to members’ needs.

• Review requests for new products or product changes and manage trials and evaluations.

• Identify opportunities for utilization and waste reduction.

• Collaborate with Buyers and Analysts to support Value Analysis efforts.

• Strategize and negotiate with vendors.

• Create meeting agendas, data presentations, and project plans.

• Communicate Value Analysis activities, outcomes, and decisions across the organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

• High School Diploma or GED (Required).

• At least 3 years of combined clinical experience in a procedural or critical care hospital environment.

• Direct experience in Value Analysis.

• Background in analyzing healthcare processes aimed at enhancing patient outcomes.

• Proficient in data analysis, especially using Excel.

• Experience in creating PowerPoint presentations.

• CVAHP certification is preferred or should be obtained within 2 years of hire.

• Capability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods.

• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities quickly while meeting deadlines.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Proficient in operating computer programs and software.

• Effective communication skills with audiences in both in-person and electronic formats.

• Ability to make independent decisions.

• Capacity to work collaboratively in a close-knit business environment with varying interruptions.

• Willingness to travel 21-40% within the US.
