This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Lead a team of Business Systems Analysts in crafting requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, workflows, and solution documentation.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to establish project scope, assess business value, identify risks, enhance processes, and define technology solutions.
• Oversee projects, application advancements, operational initiatives, timelines, dependencies, risks, issues, and communications with stakeholders.
• Work alongside Product Owners, Scrum Masters, QA teams, developers, vendors, and business stakeholders to prepare tasks for execution.
• Facilitate Agile and Scrum methodologies, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, story reviews, delivery planning, and retrospectives.
• Manage application support, issue triage, defect review, enhancement requests, service queries, and stakeholder communications.
• Prioritize production challenges, recurring issues, operational risks, and support requirements until resolution.
• Collaborate on incident management, root cause analysis, testing, release preparedness, operational transitions, and compliance with SDLC/change processes.
• Establish team objectives, expectations, responsibilities, deadlines, and performance evaluation plans.
• Provide leadership, guidance, mentoring, performance management, developmental support, and task assignments.
• Cultivate relationships with business partners, IT leadership, vendors, project teams, and stakeholders.
• Monitor budgets, expenses, standards, governance practices, and initiatives for continuous improvement.
• Uphold standards for business analysis deliverables, project documentation, intake procedures, reporting, delivery governance, and SDLC/change expectations.
• Identify opportunities to enhance intake processes, reporting, documentation, testing coordination, and operational workflows.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant IT experience, encompassing business analysis, application support, SDLC delivery, technology implementation, or production support.
• At least 3 years of experience in leadership, supervisory roles, project management, or delivery management.
• Experience in life insurance, financial services, or another regulated industry is preferred.
• Proficient in working with Agile, Scrum, or hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Experience collaborating with remote teams, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, Azure DevOps, or Microsoft Planner is preferred.
• Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are preferred.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Robust stakeholder management and relationship-building capabilities.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Capacity to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
