This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the Transitional Housing–Apartments program.
• Ensure the effective delivery, performance, and quality of services that align with Operation Homefront’s mission, standards, and strategic goals.
• Lead efforts in case management oversight, program compliance, and client engagement.
• Regularly monitor client progress through check-ins, virtual monthly renewal meetings, and virtual unit inspections.
• Coordinate financial counseling services and transition resources.
• Assist clients in transitioning into communities by providing guidance and connecting them to local resources.
• Educate clients about program and property rules and expectations.
• Engage in community outreach activities, committees, coalitions, presentations, task forces, and provider meetings.
• Attend relevant community groups that focus on housing, veteran services, and supportive services.
• Share updates on the program, department, and organization with community partners.
• Document outreach activities, key contacts, and outcomes.
• Review applications, assess program eligibility, conduct applicant intakes, and perform background and reference checks.
• Ensure accurate move-in documentation and maintain confidential client records.
• Collaborate with Integrated Public Relations, Accounting, and Development teams on grant proposals and reporting requirements.
• Maintain complete, accurate, and up-to-date program documentation.
• Provide guidance, mentorship, training, and onboarding support to Housing Case Workers.
• Execute property management responsibilities, including unit setup, maintenance and repairs, virtual property inspections, addressing resident concerns, and ensuring unit upkeep.
• Ensure timely data entry and monitor key performance indicators.
• Support reporting, audits, and program evaluations with accurate and compliant data.
• Coordinate donation requests, accounting documentation, and internal reports.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree in social work or a related field is preferred; a master’s degree is highly desirable.
• 3–5 years of experience in a non-profit organization or working with the military community.
• Familiarity with housing programs and military pay systems is preferred.
• Experience in property management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Annual Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) is required.
• A criminal background check is mandatory.
• Personal auto coverage of 100/300/100 is required.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
• Capability to drive a motor vehicle and travel to meetings, training sessions, or other business-related events as required.
• The selected candidate will need to undergo a criminal background check, motor vehicle record check, and education verification.
• Remote work arrangement.
• Flexibility to work after hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
