Manager, Trade Shows

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee the execution and logistics of trade shows to meet business objectives.

• Collaborate with Marketing to identify strategically important trade shows, focusing on each show’s theme and attendees.

• Execute trade shows while adhering to established guidelines, processes, and tools.

• Educate cross-functional teams, provide guidance, and establish effective solutions.

• Create and manage detailed event project plans encompassing setup tasks, product requirements, collateral, bookings, and other specifics.

• Approve exhibit design, layout, costs, and construction details.

• Negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers while staying within budget.

• Cultivate and maintain relationships with industry and trade associations within the Peripheral Vascular sector.

• Develop pre-show briefing materials and lead pre-show business meetings.

• Conduct and communicate post-show evaluations, including relevant metrics.

• Assist in the creation of tracking and measurement tools and processes.

• Facilitate on-site lead tracking software and associated processes.

• Organize VIP tours, customer events, and engagements.

• Identify sponsorship opportunities at conferences that align with marketing objectives.

• Explore and assess new trade show marketing opportunities based on business priorities and goals.

• Collaborate with Marketing and cross-functional teams to achieve measurable business outcomes.

• Willingness to travel 30–40% of the time.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline is required.

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in marketing, trade shows, events, or a related field.

• Preferred 8 years of experience specifically in Tradeshows, Events, or related Marketing.

• An MBA is preferred.

• Experience in people leadership is preferred.

• Prior experience in trade show strategy is preferred.

• Must be willing to travel 30–40%.
