This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Oversee the daily email content operations for the participating TGL and WTGL clubs.
• Create, produce, review, approve, and distribute email content.
• Convert club content and marketing priorities into executable email marketing strategies.
• Suggest best practices for email communications regarding team and player announcements, ticket sales, match promotions, content distribution, merchandise, and fan engagement.
• Develop and manage integrated team email content calendars in collaboration with Digital – Golf.
• Write, edit, and assemble email copy, including subject lines, preheaders, headlines, body text, calls to action, and promotional messages.
• Maintain ongoing communication with participating clubs through league-provided Slack channels.
• Generate and share post-match summary reports of published content.
• Oversee the review and approval processes for campaigns involving club and league stakeholders.
• Collaborate with both internal and external creative teams to produce email creative assets.
• Work with Shared Services on audience segmentation, deliverability, testing, and performance metrics.
• Monitor projects, tasks, and hours for end-of-season reporting and billing purposes.
• Assist with additional team email content requirements and special initiatives.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in email content marketing, lifecycle marketing, CRM marketing, digital marketing, or a similar field.
• Proven experience in developing email content and campaign strategies across various brands, teams, markets, or stakeholder groups.
• Exceptional copywriting and editing capabilities.
• Practical experience in building, testing, troubleshooting, and launching email campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud or a similar enterprise email service provider.
• Familiarity with HTML/CSS email templates and principles of responsive email design.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Solid understanding of professional golf and knowledge of TGL and WTGL.
• Availability during and in advance of competitive events, including evenings and weekends as necessary.
• Capacity to work up to 40 hours per week during the contract duration, with the possibility of additional hours.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, digital media, marketing, sports management, or a related discipline.
• Preferred experience in supporting professional sports teams, local markets, or franchise stakeholders within a league framework.
• Preferred experience collaborating with creative teams on responsive, mobile-first email assets and reusable campaign templates.
• Preferred experience in supporting ticketing, tune-in, content, merchandise, membership, or fan engagement initiatives.
• Preferred experience within a startup or high-growth setting.
• Preferred experience with Litmus or other email QA/testing platforms.
• Flexible scheduling that accommodates TGL and WTGL competition timetables.
