Manager – Tangible Assets Valuation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Act as a trusted advisor for clients, identifying their issues, conflicts, and potential solutions.

• Oversee staff and engagement deliverables, which include financial statements, tax returns, and work papers.

• Conduct technical and strategic reviews to ensure quality control, timely delivery, and adherence to budget.

• Utilize technical knowledge of industry trends, organizations, procedures, policies, and alternatives.

• Acquire new clients through upper management engagement and participate in client meetings, presentations, and proposals.

• Manage and maintain multiple client relationships, engagements, and special projects.

• Create engagement budgets and achieve charge-hour targets.

• Handle billing and realization, clarifying any variances.

• Supervise, train, and mentor team members.

• Cultivate a positive team culture and support management decisions.

• Engage in practice development, new business generation, and cross-service initiatives.

• Travel for work with some overnight stays, potentially up to 70%, depending on client and business requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree is required.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting or a related discipline.

• At least 3 years of supervisory experience is necessary.

• An active CPA or equivalent certification is mandatory.

• Capability to manage all facets of client engagements.

• Proven verbal and written communication skills across all organizational levels, both internally and externally.

• Willingness to travel based on client and business requirements.

• Proficient in relevant technologies.

• Preferred: A master’s degree in Accounting, Taxation, or a related field.
