This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Act as a trusted advisor to clients by identifying issues, conflicts, and potential solutions.

• Oversee staff on engagement deliverables, which include financial statements, tax returns, and work papers.

• Conduct technical and strategic reviews to ensure adherence to quality control standards, timely delivery, and budget compliance.

• Exhibit technical expertise and knowledge of industry trends, alternatives, and client responsibilities.

• Gain a comprehensive understanding of client organizations, procedures, and internal policies.

• Cultivate new client relationships with upper management through meetings, presentations, proposals, and cross-selling initiatives.

• Manage and maintain multiple client relationships, engagements, and specialized projects.

• Create engagement budgets and achieve charge-hour objectives.

• Handle billing and realization for assigned clients and provide explanations for variances.

• Supervise, train, and mentor team members.

• Promote a positive team culture and support management decisions.

• Engage in practice development activities that generate new business and cross-selling opportunities.

• Take on additional responsibilities as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree is required.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field.

• At least 3 years of supervisory experience is necessary.

• Must possess and maintain the required licenses.

• Ability to manage all aspects of client engagements effectively.

• Proven capability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing at all organizational levels, both internally and externally.

• Proficiency in the relevant technology is essential.

• Willingness to travel according to client and business needs.
