Manager, Talent Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Lead, mentor, and develop the Talent Operations team.

• Oversee team workload, capacity, sourcing assignments, productivity, quality, and candidate experience.

• Recruit, onboard, retain, and nurture team talent.

• Take ownership of the Talent Acquisition technology stack strategy, roadmap, implementation, integration, maintenance, and optimization.

• Supervise system enhancements and custom configurations.

• Manage vendor relationships, contracts, business reviews, service levels, and deliverables.

• Collaborate with IT, HRIS, HR, and process owners to ensure workflow continuity, adoption, compliance, and AI solution deployment.

• Oversee Talent Acquisition data reporting and analytics, including dashboards and recurring reports.

• Analyze and communicate recruiting KPIs and trends, converting insights into actionable recommendations.

• Establish auditing routines for regulatory compliance and data integrity in partnership with HR Compliance and Legal.

• Direct Talent Marketing strategy, employer branding campaigns, career site content, advertising, social media, and recruitment marketing technology.

• Measure and enhance talent marketing performance, media expenditures, and channel strategies.

• Manage the Early Career Program, which includes internship and entry-level hiring, university partnerships, events, pipelines, and conversion rates.

• Design early career cohort experiences and refine the program using retention and performance data.

• Facilitate sourcing through tools, licenses, talent pools, market intelligence, and search methodologies.

• Create sourcing playbooks, training materials, and best practices.

• Drive ongoing improvement, change management, and training across talent processes and tools.

• Act as a liaison between Talent Operations, HRIS, HR, IT, and Talent Acquisition regarding policy, process, and system modifications.


⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in the configuration, management, and implementation of ATS, HCM, and/or CRM systems.

• Strong data and analytics skills; experience in building dashboards and executive reports.

• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint is essential.

• Familiarity with process improvement methodologies is preferred, including continuous improvement, value stream mapping, Lean Six Sigma, design thinking, and workflow mapping.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience is required.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, Talent Operations, HRIS, and/or recruiting operations is necessary.

• At least 2 years of people leadership experience is required.

• Experience managing multi-functional teams is preferred.

• Proven experience with ATS, HCM, and/or CRM systems is required; Workday and Phenom are preferred.

• Experience in analyzing and reporting data and conveying insights to senior leadership is essential.

• Experience in managing vendor relationships, budgets, and contracts is required.

• Experience collaborating with Human Resource functions is necessary.

• Background in project management, implementation workbooks, and training deployment is required.

• Experience with talent marketing, employer branding, and/or recruitment marketing platforms is preferred.

• Experience in building or managing early career, internship, or campus recruiting programs is preferred.

• Ability to perform sedentary office duties, including filing, lifting files, opening filing cabinets, and bending as needed.
