This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.
β’ Lead the development and execution of vendor-managed support initiatives.
β’ Oversee essential Statements of Work (SOWs).
β’ Create a cohesive Level 1 (L1) support framework across the digital platform ecosystem.
β’ Design and implement an L1 Support Playbook for digital customer support products, encompassing Microsoft products, data warehouses, and customer portals.
β’ Define and monitor performance KPIs.
β’ Identify opportunities for automation and curate a backlog of use cases.
β’ Enhance self-service and guided support options for end users.
β’ Coordinate business and technical support requirements across various programs.
β’ Manage vendors and Customer Support Operations-related SOWs from scope definition through to approval, execution, and governance.
β’ Facilitate regular vendor business reviews.
β’ Analyze digital and data-related SOWs to pinpoint redundant or outdated outsourced tasks.
β’ Decrease vendor expenditures through consolidation, optimization, retirement of SOWs, automation, and integration.
β’ Collaborate with Finance and product stakeholders to assess cost savings.
β’ Contribute to product integration initiatives and digital-first replacements.
β’ Establish reporting, governance, and expenditure-tracking mechanisms.
β’ Promote operational excellence throughout vendor engagement and support operations.
β’ Bachelorβs Degree with 10 years of experience; OR an Advanced Degree with 7 years of experience.
β’ Proven experience managing multiple external vendors and Statements of Work (SOWs), including scope definition, approvals, contract execution, and performance governance.
β’ Experience in support operations, preferably L1 support within digital products or enterprise systems.
β’ Capable of developing processes, KPIs, and standard operating procedures.
β’ Strong analytical skills and financial expertise.
β’ Experience assessing vendor expenditures and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
β’ Proficient in using data to evaluate operational performance and impact.
β’ Experience leading structured business reviews.
β’ Skilled in synthesizing vendor performance data and fostering accountability with external partners.
β’ Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
β’ Ability to oversee complex projects and manage competing priorities across teams and vendors.
β’ Familiarity with digital support tools, automation platforms, or ticketing systems.
β’ Must be a U.S. Person.
