Manager, Subcontractor Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Lead and oversee a small to medium-sized team accountable for subcontractor services, compliance, and vendor administration.

• Establish and sustain a nationwide network of qualified subcontractors throughout all regions of the United States.

• Identify and evaluate vendors as well as assess subcontractor qualifications, capabilities, financial stability, references, certifications, safety records, and operational capacity.

• Supervise the onboarding of subcontractors and ensure completion of necessary documentation.

• Negotiate contracts, pricing models, Terms & Conditions, service level agreements, and payment terms.

• Administer Certificates of Insurance (COIs) and confirm insurance coverage, limits, endorsements, and policy types.

• Ensure adherence to insurance requirements set by customer and prime contractor agreements.

• Monitor insurance expiration dates and coordinate timely renewals.

• Verify and uphold state, county, municipal, and trade-specific licenses.

• Track license expiration dates and renewal obligations across various jurisdictions.

• Maintain subcontractor documentation, including agreements, W-9s, COIs, licenses, certifications, NDAs, and onboarding papers.

• Conduct evaluations of subcontractor performance and manage corrective action initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in leading small to medium-sized teams.

• At least 5 years of experience in subcontractor management, vendor management, procurement, supplier compliance, or contract administration.

• Proven experience in negotiating contract terms and conditions, payment terms, insurance requirements, and licensing mandates.

• Strong knowledge of COI management, contractor compliance, and documentation governance.

• Exceptional communication, negotiation, organizational, and relationship management abilities.

• A pre-existing network of low-voltage, structured cabling, telecommunications, or technology services contractors across the United States is highly preferred.

• Experience in supporting national deployment, telecommunications, security, AV, or low-voltage programs is desirable.

• Familiarity with contractor management, procurement, ERP, or compliance platforms is preferred.

• Candidates residing within a reasonable commuting distance of an i2G office are strongly preferred.
