This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Manage relationships with third-party vendors concerning utility billing services.
• Improve operational efficiency and foster innovation through data analytics.
• Work with cross-functional teams to establish strategic policies and advance technological initiatives.
• Provide leadership aimed at optimizing utility billing operations while ensuring a customer-focused service.
• Direct the development, evaluation, and ongoing enhancement of utility billing processes and standards.
• Supervise data analysis related to utility usage, billing trends, and customer feedback.
• Collaborate with customer service and other departments to address billing policies.
• Manage escalated billing concerns and coordinate with the billing team for prompt resolution.
• Oversee resident billing inquiries and engage with clients for resolution when necessary.
• Partner with IT, Finance, Operations, and Legal teams to align billing systems with policy requirements and corporate objectives.
• Ensure that third-party integrations with billing software operate effectively and provide ongoing reporting.
• Lead initiatives to enhance billing accuracy, efficiency, and customer satisfaction, including software implementations, process automation, and policy modifications.
• Supervise team members and fulfill other assigned responsibilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Public Policy, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3–5 years of experience in utility billing, policy development, or financial analysis.
• Strong comprehension of utility billing operations, regulatory frameworks, and data analysis techniques.
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and project management abilities.
• Proficient in billing systems, data analytics software, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Capable of working independently, prioritizing multiple tasks, and excelling in a dynamic environment.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Competence in leadership and team development.
• Demonstrated success in strategic planning and execution.
• Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Must possess documentation authorizing legal work in the United States of America.
