Manager, Shared Care – 12 Month Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Oversee the Shared Care Committee and manage the analytics portfolio for Strategic Initiatives that supports various initiatives and operations.

• Direct and integrate the activities of the analyst team with the established work plan and strategic goals.

• Aid in the strategic decision-making processes at the Shared Care Committee and leadership levels.

• Supervise the design and execution of evaluation projects aimed at fostering system and organizational learning.

• Offer evaluation and knowledge-management support as well as guidance to partners and staff.

• Manage the development and upkeep of both qualitative and quantitative analytics infrastructure, which includes staff and system capacity, tools, measurement frameworks, reports, and strategies for knowledge sharing.

• Address emerging provincial needs and trends.

• Provide leadership, mentorship, and direction on evaluation and measurement techniques for quality enhancement.

• Lead the reporting and evaluation functions while overseeing analyses.

• Create frameworks, operational plans, documentation, and materials for meetings.

• Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, which includes physicians, the Ministry of Health, and Health Authority partners.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master’s degree and/or a recognized professional designation, along with up to six years of relevant and progressive experience; or a bachelor’s degree with an equivalent level of related work experience and specialized training.

• Proficiency in evaluation, quality improvement, data visualization, and measurement for results.

• Proven experience in managing a diverse range of projects concurrently.

• Background in planning, evaluation, performance measurement, and change management strategies.

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Strong writing skills and the capability to produce clear and concise communications, briefing notes, and reports.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong consultation and meeting facilitation capabilities.

• Expertise in stakeholder relations and the ability to develop shared goals among diverse groups.

• Experience in supervising and managing teams within complex systems and collaborating with senior and executive management.

• Experience in team building, staff development, and coaching.

• Ability to independently manage a varied and flexible work schedule while meeting project deadlines and deliverables.

• A solid understanding of healthcare and specialty care systems, with experience working alongside physicians preferred.
