This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Ensure precise and timely revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606 and company policies for global legal entities.
• Collaborate with Financial Reporting on technical accounting issues and related activities, including new contracts or partnerships.
• Facilitate the execution of revenue accounting treatments within ERP/sub-ledger systems for various revenue types.
• Work alongside FP&A to create and track revenue analytics, identify discrepancies, and support business decision-making.
• Take ownership of the global revenue close process at month-end and quarter-end, including journal entry reviews, reconciliations, and account analyses.
• Maintain and enforce internal controls and SOX compliance within the revenue accounting function.
• Assist in the preparation of disclosures and audit documentation.
• Oversee the complete revenue recognition process and collaborate across the organization to minimize manual interventions.
• Aid in ERP implementation and ensure accurate revenue recognition design.
• Address revenue recognition application issues throughout the global organization.
• Contribute to merger and acquisition projects, including due diligence and deal evaluations.
• Support post-acquisition revenue implementation to ensure compliance with ASC 606.
• Lead and assist with process improvements and systems initiatives.
• Mentor a small team regarding revenue accounting initiatives and priorities.
• Collaborate with FP&A, SOX, Financial Reporting, Controllership, and global accounting teams.
• Support, lead, and carry out Finance and Corporate Strategic Initiatives.
• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years in SaaS companies.
• Strong expertise in revenue accounting in relation to ASC 606.
• Highly collaborative communication style and practice.
• In-depth knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP), particularly ASC 606, financial controls, and authoritative guidance.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
• Outstanding organizational skills, analytical capabilities, and attention to detail.
• CPA designation preferred.
• Experience with public companies preferred.
