This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Collaborate with Sales, Client Services, Fund Administration, Transfer Agency, and external entities such as ESDC and CRA to assist Advisors, Dealers, and BMO Sales teams with RDSP and RESP servicing.
• Serve as the main escalation contact for intricate RDSP and RESP servicing challenges.
• Provide direct support to Advisors and Dealers involved in processing and managing RDSP and RESP plans.
• Act as the primary liaison for RDSP and RESP NIGO matters and collaborate with stakeholders to address concerns.
• Monitor, track, and analyze RDSP and RESP NIGOs to uncover root causes and recurring problems.
• Oversee RDSP and RESP activities to identify trends and systemic challenges.
• Coordinate scheduled communications with clients and Advisors in partnership with the Sales team and/or Contact Centre.
• Suggest enhancements to registered-plan servicing models, processes, and support systems.
• Assist in the development and upkeep of policies, procedures, and support materials for RDSP and RESP plans.
• Work together with the Product Support team on RDSP/RESP issues and improve registered-plan support resources.
• Comprehensive knowledge of RDSP and RESP products, servicing obligations, and regulatory aspects.
• Demonstrated ability to manage escalations and resolve intricate plan issues.
• Strong coordination and relationship-management abilities across various internal and external stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented mindset, with a knack for identifying trends and systemic challenges.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Capability to work independently while effectively collaborating within a cross-functional team environment.
• Experience in supporting registered investment plans in the Canadian financial services sector.
• Familiarity with Transfer Agency servicing models, dealer operations, and Advisor workflows.
• Understanding of CRA and ESDC reporting and registration criteria for RDSPs and RESPs.
• Typically possesses 4–6 years of relevant experience.
• Holds a post-secondary degree in a pertinent field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of business analysis, project delivery methodologies, and standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Technical proficiency acquired through education and/or professional experience.
