Manager, Project Management

📋 Description

• Oversee all facets of the implementation of customer benefit plans for self-funded new business clients.

• Spearhead the planning and execution of essential organizational projects that align with company goals, timelines, and budgets.

• Create project plans, assign team member roles, establish deliverables, set deadlines, and define milestones.

• Conduct post-project evaluations and apply insights gained to enhance project management practices.

• Establish and enforce quality control procedures.

• Formulate change management strategies and plans.

• Identify project risks and challenges, and develop mitigation and contingency strategies.

• Prepare and present project progress reports.

• Supervise individuals managing multiple projects with competing priorities.

• Mentor junior team members in project management techniques, processes, and responsibilities.

• Work in partnership with internal and external stakeholders to identify and resolve critical implementation challenges.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5 to 7 years of experience in healthcare, engaging directly with clients, managing relationships, resolving issues, and successfully delivering healthcare products, services, or implementation projects.

• Strong problem-solving abilities to assess risks, propose solutions, and drive issues to resolution within set timelines.

• Proven capability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Demonstrated skills in execution and delivery, including work prioritization, managing competing deadlines, coordinating cross-functional resources, and achieving set business objectives.

• Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

• Extensive understanding and strong affiliation with Aetna organizations related to products, services, administration, operations, and systems.

• Bachelor's degree preferred; specialized training or relevant professional qualifications are also acceptable.

• Equivalent work experience is acceptable.

• Ability to work in the Pacific Time Zone is preferred.
