This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Lead a team of technical consultants catering to the U.S. Federal customer sector.
• Supervise the execution of delivery, ensure operational excellence, manage scope, and drive revenue across FedCiv, DoD, and IC agencies.
• Mentor and guide a team of 5–10 professionals in Federal Professional Services.
• Collaborate with Federal Sales, Customer Success, Technical Support, and Engineering on cybersecurity implementations, tailored integrations, and architectural advisory services.
• Enhance billable utilization, project profitability, SOW execution, and consultant achievements.
• Inspire, mentor, and cultivate the growth of Federal Professional Services consultants.
• Set benchmarks for billable utilization, professional growth, technical certifications, and operational adherence.
• Oversee resource management, capacity planning, scope discussions, and staffing assignments.
• Take ownership of delivery efficiency and the financial health of the Federal Professional Services portfolio.
• Ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with existing SOWs.
• Identify potential project risks, address technical obstacles, and execute recovery strategies.
• Manage change-order procedures and collaborate with Sales on opportunities for expansion.
• Foster relationships with agency stakeholders, contracting officers, CISOs, program managers, and prime system integrators.
• Ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS, agency security regulations, FedRAMP requirements, and technical clearance protocols.
• Work with Sales Account Executives and Solutions Engineers to define project scopes, draft SOWs, and estimate project efforts.
• Partner with Customer Success Managers to facilitate smooth transitions from deployment to adoption.
• Coordinate with Product Management and Engineering to address agency feedback, product deficiencies, and integration requirements.
• Report directly to the Director of Public Sector Professional Services.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical/business area (or equivalent practical experience).
• A TS/SCI or higher security clearance is mandatory.
• Over 5 years of experience in Professional Services, Technical Consulting, or Systems Integration within enterprise IT or cybersecurity settings.
• At least 3 years of hands-on people management experience leading technical consulting or professional services delivery teams.
• Profound knowledge of the U.S. Federal market (FedCiv, DoD, IC).
• In-depth understanding of cybersecurity architecture, platform implementations, and technical areas such as Endpoint, XDR, Network/NDR, Data Security/DLP, or SIEM/SecOps.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies, SOW creation, Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) and Time & Materials (T&M) contract frameworks, and Salesforce.
• Strong familiarity with Federal contracting standards, FAR/DFARS requirements, and CPARS processes.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• An active Secret, Top Secret, or Top Secret/SCI clearance (or immediate eligibility) is required.
