Manager, Professional Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Establish strategic direction and provide senior leadership to a team of system integration consultants.

• Take ownership of people leadership, encompassing hiring strategies, performance management, goal setting, compensation evaluations, leadership development, and succession planning.

• Steer the resolution of highly intricate integration challenges.

• Define and implement strategies for team training, processes, and tools.

• Collaborate with other Systems Integration teams to ensure streamlined, scalable integration of OpenText processes throughout the organization.

• Deliver senior-level consulting services on comprehensive system design requirements for trading partner EDI and electronic commerce integrations.

• Act as a trusted advisor to client leadership, internal project management teams, and technical stakeholders.

• Serve as the escalation point and decision-maker for complex technical issues.

• Ensure consistency in integration architecture, standards, and delivery practices.

• Oversee the quality and governance of project deliverables, establish best practices, review outputs, and approve deliverables prior to client evaluation.

• Advocate for continuous improvement across tools, processes, and delivery models.

• Report to senior and executive leadership regarding performance, risks, and strategic opportunities.

• Promote professional growth, engagement, and retention of consulting talent.

• Maintain and enhance knowledge of OpenText products and integration platforms.

• Guide the adoption of emerging technologies, especially Artificial Intelligence, and develop strategies for their integration into existing processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven capabilities in senior leadership, including leader development, vision communication, and inspiring high-performing teams.

• Strong executive presence with the ability to quickly build rapport and credibility at all organizational levels.

• Excellent judgment combined with strong Systems Integration and Technical/Business acumen, and the ability to evaluate people, processes, and platforms at scale.

• Hands-on experience with integration platforms, data translation software, and industry communication protocols and data formats, such as IBM Sterling, HTTP, SFTP, Web Services, REST APIs, XML, EDI, X12, IDoc, and flat files.

• Strong comprehension of European e-Invoicing mandates.

• At least 7+ years of customer-facing experience.

• Demonstrated experience in leading and scaling teams of consultants and technical professionals.

• Additional proficiency in Spanish, Portuguese, or other European languages is a plus.
