Manager, Product Management

📋 Description

• Oversee the strategy and direction of the SpheraCloud platform product.

• Direct product priorities and enhancements from conceptualization to full production.

• Generate innovative ideas based on industry insights and feedback from partners and customers.

• Collaborate with solution areas to develop and implement functionalities for SpheraCloud's cloud-based solutions.

• Partner with both internal and external customers, business lines, and Agile teams to evolve assigned products.

• Establish product vision and manage a prioritized product backlog that aligns with business priorities.

• Shape and communicate the software development roadmap to stakeholders both internally and externally.

• Define and prioritize the release backlog in coordination with engineering teams and product owners/managers.

• Collaborate with development and engineering teams to outline architecture, user experience, and product capabilities.

• Ensure the overall quality of solutions delivered to customers.

• Investigate market requirements and forecasts for portfolio opportunities and strategies for platform advancement.

• Document and maintain competitor profiles.

• Assist in branding, marketing, sales, and partner-channel positioning and enablement.

• Create training materials and tools for Sales, Services, and Customer Care teams.

• Maintain metrics for platform success and roadmap, including initiatives, epics, maintenance, architecture, and new features.

• Define planned dates and content for product releases.

• Represent customers in team meetings and engage in retrospectives.

• Develop personas and associated product capabilities.

• Facilitate discussions for issue resolution and project advancement.

• Participate in product planning, forecasts, sprint retrospectives, and release retrospectives.

• Monitor and report on product status, including burn-up/burn-down and velocity charts.

• Maintain the release backlog and focus on product deliverables.

• Influence stakeholders towards a common platform vision and optimal product results.

• Lead cross-functional teams for key company initiatives.

• Contribute to Go-To-Market teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Computer Science, and/or Business/Marketing.

• 5+ years of experience in software platform design concepts and components.

• 5+ years of experience in Product Management is preferred.

• 3+ years of experience in people management.

• Experience in managing enterprise software applications and/or large-scale product initiatives, particularly SaaS applications.

• Strong understanding of Agile Product Management and Software Development methodologies.

• Proven ability to communicate effectively with customers, stakeholders, sales personnel, and executives.

• Knowledgeable in modern technology and architectural patterns.

• Familiarity with product development in a Cloud environment.

• Understanding of products based on services and APIs.

• Strong conceptual and analytical skills to support the creation of well-researched and documented plans.

• Demonstrated record as a self-motivated, performance-driven professional.

• Exhibits sound business judgment, common sense, and insight.

• Acts consistently in alignment with Sphera's values and ethical principles.

• Must reside in the eastern or central time zones.
