Manager, Procurement

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the sourcing and procurement of materials and services.

• Manage supplier performance along with the complete purchase order life cycle, which includes supplier development, requirement solicitations, purchase order awards, post-award management, and closeout activities.

• Provide support to DoD, FMS, and DCS clients within the procurement team.

• Foster and manage supplier relationships to meet factory material requirements.

• Prepare and distribute Requests for Proposals (RFPs).

• Execute medium-complexity purchase orders in compliance with FAR/DFAR and corporate regulations.

• Assist in developing negotiation strategies and conduct formal negotiations regarding price, delivery, scope, and terms and conditions.

• Conduct price and cost analyses for proposals.

• Maintain professional business relationships with first-tier subcontractors.

• Collaborate with Program, Operations, Quality, Engineering, and Program Management teams.

• Keep purchase orders updated to ensure accurate and timely supplier delivery information.

⛳️ Requirements

• A University Degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field with a minimum of 5 years of experience.

• Relevant experience in procurement, supply chain management, management, finance, or a similar role.

• Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) or eligible to obtain the necessary export authorizations.

• Experience in an SAP/PRISM-based environment is preferred.

• Familiarity with the technical requirements of procured hardware and services, including the review of Statements of Work (SOW), is preferred.

• Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS) is preferred.

• Experience in drafting written contractual authorizations/vehicles (such as Cost Plus, Firm Fixed Price, etc.) is preferred.
