This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead, guide, and mentor a team of project managers focused on software development.
• Create and uphold project governance frameworks that are in line with the business strategy.
• Oversee the planning and execution of software development initiatives, from their definition to commercialization.
• Identify and manage risks, critical paths, dependencies, and resource limitations across various programs.
• Ensure the consistent application of project management processes, methodologies, and tools, including schedule management and reporting.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality assurance, product, regulatory, and other partners to deliver compliant, high-quality software products.
• Ensure adherence to relevant Quality Management System (QMS) procedures and software development documentation requirements.
• Support ongoing improvement by collecting, maintaining, and disseminating lessons learned.
• Address escalations, reduce conflicts, and sustain effective communication among project teams.
• Proactively engage with project stakeholders and senior management to ensure alignment and provide updates on progress and milestones.
• Lead and manage critical software projects as required.
• Over 7 years of experience in project management, including at least 3 years in a functional management role.
• Preference for candidates with experience in managing and mentoring project managers.
• Strong comprehension of software development lifecycles, including Agile, hybrid, or waterfall methodologies.
• Familiarity with regulatory and quality frameworks pertinent to software-based products (e.g., FDA QSR, ISO standards).
• Demonstrated capability to manage complex, cross-functional programs involving multiple stakeholders.
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational abilities.
