Manager, Periodic Access Review

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Supervise the implementation, quality assurance, and ongoing enhancement of the organization's periodic access review initiative.

• Ensure that access certifications are conducted accurately, punctually, in compliance with regulations, defensible in audits, and aligned with identity governance standards.

• Foster accountability throughout review processes.

• Track program performance and offer leadership insight into compliance status, risks, and remediation strategies.

• Promote automation, standardization, and process maturity within the access governance framework.

• Collaborate effectively with Internal Audit, Security, IT, and business partners.

• Integrate and optimize IAM technologies, including SailPoint and other associated tools.

• Minimize manual efforts and enhance control efficiency.

• Provide leadership and training to the team.

• Support a scalable access review program that aligns with regulatory compliance and enterprise risk management goals.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in identity and access management, auditing, or a related discipline.

• At least 2 years of experience with a solid understanding of identity access management principles and regulatory standards.

• Over 2 years of experience in a project management role.

• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

• A High School Diploma coupled with 4 years of relevant experience can serve as an alternative educational pathway.

• Familiarity with access management tools, particularly SailPoint, is highly advantageous.

• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, and/or CRISC are preferred.

• Experience with process improvement methodologies, such as Lean or Six Sigma, is desirable.
