This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Malaysia.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the planning and execution of the Payroll chapter.

• Provide mentorship and guidance to the Payroll team.

• Oversee the entire payroll function, ensuring timely, accurate processing in accordance with country-specific governmental regulations.

• Act as the main liaison between internal and external stakeholders regarding all payroll-related issues.

• Lead, facilitate, and assist the Payroll team in overcoming challenges.

• Keep current with various international payroll laws and regulations.

• Ensure adherence to all corporate and country-specific regulations, policies, and procedures.

• Manage existing partnerships with payroll, accounting, and payroll service providers.

• Create and implement best practices, key performance indicators, and SLA metrics for the team.

• Report directly to the Senior Manager, Payroll Operations.


⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in regional or global payroll operations, particularly in Australia and New Zealand.

• Knowledge of global payroll best practices.

• Experience in implementing payroll systems across multiple countries and managing relationships with third-party payroll services.

• Proficient in utilizing software tools such as SAP and Excel or Google Sheets.

• Possess an analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, international work environment and a passion for making a difference.

• A productivity enthusiast, constantly seeking ways to enhance and accelerate work processes.

• Understand the necessity and benefits of primarily working asynchronously.

• Remote work experience is not mandatory, but it is a valuable asset.

• Fluency in written and spoken English is required.
