
Manager, Payments Education – Emerging and Faster Payments

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the payments education department, establish priorities, nurture team growth, and ensure programs align with organizational and member needs.
• Spearhead education initiatives on emerging and rapid payment solutions, including real-time and instant payments, digital wallets, account-to-account transactions, open banking, embedded payments, tokenization, fraud technologies, and industry trends.
• Design and implement educational programs, webinars, workshops, publications, and learning resources.
• Conduct research and generate content related to emerging payment methods, ACH, cards, wires, checks, and relevant rules and regulations.
• Represent EPCOR at conferences, seminars, webinars, and industry events, serving as a knowledgeable spokesperson in the payments field.
• Offer expert advice to members regarding payment rules, regulations, industry advancements, and emerging trends.
• Develop and maintain educational materials that support ongoing professional and industry education.
• Collaborate with internal teams on curriculum development, communications, and member engagement strategies.
• Observe changes in the payments landscape and distill complex developments into clear, actionable information for financial institutions.
• Identify new topics and opportunities to enhance EPCOR’s educational offerings.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%.
• Bachelor’s degree or a comparable blend of education and experience.
• 5 years of experience within the financial services sector.
• 4 years of experience in training, facilitation, or public speaking.
• In-depth knowledge of payment systems, regulations, and industry trends.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and writing capabilities.
• Proficient in managing multiple projects, prioritizing tasks, and working autonomously.
• Payments certification such as AFPP, AAP, APRP, NCP, or an equivalent credential.
• Preferred: AFPP certification.
• Preferred: Experience with emerging payments, faster payments, or payment innovations.
• Preferred: Experience in creating educational content or programs for professionals in financial services.
• Preferred: Experience delivering presentations to financial institutions, industry groups, or professional audiences.
