This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee TDS associates and consultants in the planning, coordination, and supervision of Colocation/Joint Use activities across various locations and states.

• Collaborate with field services, associate managers, consultants, Outside Plant engineers, COLO/ROW team members, third-party consultants, and construction/engineering contractors.

• Engage in communication and negotiation with director-level and higher outside contractor vendors, city managers, mayors, public works directors, and other senior decision-makers.

• Manage colocation team members tasked with OOT and CLEC/ILEC projects within the TDS footprint.

• Ensure adherence to RUS Outside Plant guidelines and TDS OSP standards.

• Monitor expenditures, generate and maintain reports, enforce compliance with TDS standards and practices, and develop workflows and protocols as necessary.

• Guarantee that construction project support is delivered punctually and within budget constraints.

• Propel program-level changes and foster relationships with both internal and external teams.

• Set clear team goals and expectations; provide coaching, mentoring, and development opportunities for team members.

• Oversee right-of-way operations encompassing budgets, accounting, issues, resources, contracts, risks, compliance, methods, standards, personnel, strategy, and planning.

• Manage programs and project expectations including budgets, scope, quality, deliverables, closeouts, and records.

• Select, hire, assign, delegate, and schedule internal and external project resources.

• Develop and implement methods, standards, controls, reports, processes, tools, checklists, guides, forms, databases, and procedures.

• Establish and communicate national performance expectations; monitor and report on consultant and staff performance.

• Provide human resource management and associate allocation for network projects.

• Supervise in-house deployment staff and professional consultant engineers during peak periods.

• Conduct performance evaluations, coaching, recognition, and process improvement initiatives.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) -OR- 4+ years of professional work experience.

• 7+ years of experience in land surveying, right of way, and/or route acquisition.

• 5+ years of supervisory experience.

• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.

• Exceptional leadership, project management, customer relations, and communication skills.

• Comprehensive understanding of the Telecommunications industry and its principles.

• Strong knowledge of CLARITY/PM style programs and the creation of analytic reports.

• Thorough understanding of financial tracking and budgetary reporting.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently.

• Familiarity with the Colocation/Joint use process.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficiency with Outlook, Excel, Office Suite, as well as GIS and ESRi.

• Working knowledge of RUS construction practices and engineering standards.

• Ability to collaborate courteously and effectively with diverse teams.

• Must be self-motivated and independent.

• May be required to travel regularly on an as-needed basis.
