This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead the implementation of the change management strategy throughout the organization and across a portfolio of enterprise-wide, cross-functional projects.
• Create and manage change plans, stakeholder communications, and track adoption metrics.
• Conduct stakeholder analysis, change impact assessments, risk evaluations, readiness assessments, resistance management, and plans for reinforcement and sustainment.
• Collaborate with initiative and project leaders to incorporate change management strategies into project plans, timelines, and milestones.
• Organize and oversee organization-level stakeholder communications in partnership with the People & Culture communications team.
• Facilitate enterprise-wide alignment by prioritizing and sequencing initiatives.
• Implement a standardized change management methodology, such as Prosci/ADKAR, across the project portfolio.
• Maintain and enhance the enterprise change management system along with centralized change data.
• Develop resources for the change network and organizational stakeholders.
• Supervise the change ticketing system and delegate requests to change advisors as necessary.
• Monitor and report on adoption, usage, resistance, and change health metrics; advise on necessary adjustments.
• Support the Change Management Network across different divisions.
• Foster a culture of change champions throughout the organization.
• Collaborate with Professional Learning & Leadership Development to create and provide training and enablement.
• Design reinforcement mechanisms and feedback loops to ensure lasting adoption.
• Contribute to enhancing UNICEF USA’s internal change management capabilities, standards, and tools.
• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Four to six years of progressively responsible experience in change management, organizational development, project management, or a related discipline.
• Formal change management certification (e.g., Prosci/ADKAR) is highly preferred.
• Proven experience in developing and executing change management plans for cross-functional or enterprise-wide initiatives.
• Strong skills in stakeholder management, facilitation, and communication.
• Ability to influence and align diverse groups in a matrixed organization without direct authority.
• Experience in defining and monitoring adoption and change health metrics, utilizing data to guide course corrections.
• Capability to manage multiple simultaneous initiatives in a fast-paced, evolving environment while consistently meeting deadlines.
• Technology-savvy mindset; experience in supporting technology or AI adoption is advantageous.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including experience in engaging and presenting to senior stakeholders.
• A high level of discretion, sound judgment, and a collaborative, problem-solving approach.
