This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Accountable for the comprehensive management of Exports and associated sub-products and communications, adhering to the Bank's internal policies, SOPs, and ICC guidelines.
• Offer guidance and consultation to commercial clients regarding Export Finance, Export Payments, Document Checking, Letter of Credit Advising/Confirmation/Transfer, Collections, and Risk Participation.
• Counsel the Product Development Team on Trade Finance operations in line with international standards, ICC publications, OPM, APPM, and local regulations.
• Ensure that processes align with Bank Policies and Guidelines.
• Address customer complaints promptly and take immediate measures to resolve them.
• Achieve MBOs within the designated timeframes.
• Conduct thorough due diligence when reviewing applications, particularly for Priority Customers, high-value transactions, and back-to-back or red clause letters of credit.
• Guarantee adherence to SLAs and processing in accordance with SOP/OPMs, UCP/ISBP, and approved Product Programs; ensure recovery of charges aligns with current guidelines.
• Execute sanction checks on relevant parties in documents and verify checks related to TBML.
• Manage Commodity Trade Operations documentation.
• Ensure that no unresolved reconciliation entries are left pending in Nostro or internal accounts on a daily basis.
• Promote cross-training within the team for at least two additional products.
• Implement corrective and preventive measures based on feedback from customers, operational errors, and quality/RCSA analysis.
• Suggest modifications to SOP, OPM, and ADM to enhance service levels while maintaining control.
• Propose training sessions and workshops to bridge knowledge gaps and foster ownership of resolutions.
• Report errors, customer complaints, service issues, and concerns raised by counterparties, ensuring proper system documentation.
• Collaborate with senior colleagues and function as a cohesive team member.
• Bachelor’s degree with a comprehensive understanding of Trade Finance products and operations.
• Certification in CDCS/CITF/CTFP.
• In-depth knowledge of Swift, Trade Finance, and Financial Operating Systems.
• General Banking expertise.
• At least 9-12 years of experience in Trade Finance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word/Excel/PPT).
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and interpersonal abilities.
