This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina, +2 more countries.
• Oversee a regionally aligned operations team managing high volumes of employee onboarding across various countries.
• Inspire, guide, and mentor Onboarding Operations Specialists.
• Take ownership of team performance, quality of delivery, operational goals, and service standards.
• Facilitate motivation, provide feedback, conduct performance evaluations, navigate difficult discussions, and resolve conflicts.
• Serve as a point of escalation for intricate employee onboarding and operational issues.
• Collaborate with global Managers to promote operational improvements and share best practices.
• Utilize data to monitor performance, capacity, quality, and risks, offering recommendations to leadership.
• Enhance onboarding processes, operational controls, and experiences for both employees and customers.
• Act as a subject-matter expert on global employee onboarding and escalations.
• Assist with reporting, audits, compliance, and data integrity initiatives.
• Identify and prioritize opportunities to simplify, standardize, or automate workflows.
• Drive the adoption of approved AI and automation tools, including training, controls, and human oversight.
• Collaborate with operational excellence, data, and technical specialists to define requirements, test solutions, and support implementation.
• Evaluate whether changes enhance efficiency, accuracy, quality, capacity, employee experience, or customer outcomes.
• Lead initiatives from concept to execution, implementing sustainable solutions.
• Report directly to the Senior Manager, Onboarding Operations.
• Proven experience in people management within a high-volume operational setting.
• Background in developing scalable operational processes while upholding high standards of quality, compliance, and employee and customer experience.
• Understanding of employment and/or labor laws, benefits, payroll processes, and employment contracts in multiple countries, or the ability to quickly learn these aspects.
• Strong stakeholder management abilities and effective communication during complex or sensitive scenarios.
• Excellent operational judgment, balancing compliance needs, team capacity, service quality, and scalable delivery.
• Proficient in using data for decision-making, performance monitoring, risk identification, and improvement recommendations.
• Comfortable leveraging AI and automation tools to boost productivity, service quality, and operational consistency.
• Skilled in identifying repetitive tasks and process bottlenecks suitable for automation or AI-assisted workflows.
• Experience leading change initiatives and assisting teams in adapting to new tools or methodologies.
• Capable of collaborating with technical, data, or automation specialists to define operational requirements, test solutions, and encourage adoption.
• Sound judgment regarding the responsible use of AI, including data privacy, security, compliance, accuracy, and necessary human oversight.
• Composed under pressure, able to engage in challenging conversations, resolve conflicts, and escalate issues appropriately.
• Pragmatic, adaptable, and able to work independently in a fast-paced, international, and high-growth environment.
• Experience in international people operations or as an HR generalist is advantageous.
• Fluent in written and spoken English; proficiency in an additional language is a plus.
• Remote work experience is appreciated, though not mandatory.
