Manager, MDR & Threat Hunting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Build, lead, and continually enhance a high-performing team of customer-focused threat hunters and MDR specialists.

• Manage the entire talent lifecycle for the team, including the development of technical skills, performance evaluations, and career advancement paths.

• Act as the primary escalation point for customer security teams and executives during incidents, complex investigations, hunts, and critical service matters.

• Oversee ongoing tactical and strategic engagements with customers, ranging from weekly to quarterly interactions.

• Convert threat actor activities, policy frameworks, and attack surface vulnerabilities into actionable insights that illustrate the value of MDR and Threat Hunting services.

• Establish quality benchmarks for MDR and Managed Threat Hunting deliverables provided to customers.

• Promote ongoing enhancements based on customer feedback and hunting results.

⛳️ Requirements

• Basic understanding of AI/ML technologies along with experience in leveraging, securing, or positioning AI-driven solutions within your area of expertise.

• Knowledge of threat actor tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) in line with the MITRE ATT&CK framework.

• Familiarity with detection and response strategies for EDR and Web Proxies.

• Expertise in two or more EDR platforms.

• Experience in writing detection rules and responding to EDR alerts.

• Proven history of managing teams responsible for customer deliverables.

• Experience in communicating with executive stakeholders.

• Skills in detection and response utilizing network and/or Web Proxy telemetry, particularly with Zscaler products or similar alternatives.
