Manager, Labs Project Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Belgium.

📋 Description

• Oversee and inspire project management personnel

• Recruit, train, develop, and evaluate employee performance

• Draft, assess, modify, and implement procedures and SOPs in alignment with global standards

• Supervise compliance with SOPs and key tasks

• Act as the primary liaison between sponsors and PPD internal departments throughout the study

• Manage, control, and delegate daily clinical trial operations

• Address issues and respond to inquiries

• Hold regular in-person meetings with clients

• Tackle client concerns and interpret their needs to enhance satisfaction

• Oversee client and/or program-level relationships

• Promote and advocate for exceptional customer service for clients and programs

• Organize and facilitate team member workflows

• Mentor and train staff; coach for development and efficiency enhancements

• Author, review, revise, and execute procedural documents

• Serve as a backup for the Associate Director PM and provide advice on action plans

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent and relevant formal academic/vocational qualification

• More than 5 years of relevant experience

• At least 1 year in a leadership role

• Equivalence may be considered through a combination of suitable education, training, and/or directly related experience

• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation abilities

• Proficient in Microsoft Office for data analysis and presentation

• Strong critical thinking capabilities

• In-depth knowledge of project management theories, principles, and best practices related to lab operations

• Exceptional attention to detail and adherence to procedures and policies

• Effective skills in client relationship management

• Strong supervisory and management capabilities

• Proficient problem-solving and prioritization skills

• Strong analytical and quantitative abilities

• Capacity to multitask and work under pressure

• Ability to manage employees across various regions

• Capability to work in an office, laboratory, and/or clinical setting with exposure to electrical equipment
