Manager, Interoperability

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the entire lifecycle of clinical data integration projects, from initiation to production.

• Work in conjunction with internal teams, provider partners, project administrators, and EHR vendors.

• Spearhead the technical implementation of products and solutions designed for direct partner engagement.

• Assist in partner onboarding, data integration, and the adoption of solutions for provider engagement and population health.

• Guide provider organizations through the technical deliverables required for CMS programs, including MSSP and ACO REACH.

• Analyze EHR capabilities and provide partners with advice on interface configurations and best practices for data submission.

• Document integration processes, provide status updates, and ensure alignment among clinical, technical, and business stakeholders.

• Evaluate incoming data files for their structure and content while supporting partner quality assurance processes.

• Resolve interface issues to maintain data accuracy and support performance-based contracts.

• Record partner interactions via email and calls and keep project and process documentation up to date.

• Identify opportunities for workflow enhancements and refine technical and operational standards.

• Develop expertise in internal platforms and utilize both front-end and back-end tools, including SQL environments, to address complex issues within service level agreements.

• Collaborate on technical initiatives related to interoperability, system functionality, new EHR vendor integration techniques, and updated data specifications.

• Manage the activities and personnel associated with interface projects under the supervision of the Director of Interoperability.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of training, education, and experience is required.

• Over 6 years of experience within the healthcare industry.

• More than 5 years of experience in data gathering and analysis.

• At least 2 years of experience supervising direct reports, demonstrating achievement of departmental objectives.

• Familiarity with various EMR systems.

• Understanding of HL7, QRDA1, and CCDA standards.

• Experience in interface development and troubleshooting for partner implementations.

• Proficiency in SQL, BigQuery, and Foundry for querying, analyzing, and resolving data issues.

• Skills in project coordination, defining timelines, managing deliverables, and fostering cross-functional collaboration.

• Experience in managing CRM systems and documenting partner interactions.

• Ability to create technical documentation and translate complex technical information for non-technical audiences.

• Quality assurance expertise and data validation capabilities to ensure clean, accurate, and complete data feeds.

• Collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and data privacy/security regulations.

• Strong presentation skills for conducting partner kickoff calls and addressing support inquiries.

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, time management, organizational, and professional skills.

• Ability to work autonomously with minimal guidance and take the initiative.

• Preferred qualifications include SCRUM Fundamentals, Udemy SQL Certification, Udemy Data Engineering 101 Certification, and/or Azure Fundamentals certification.

• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and compliance standards.

• A general or strong interest in population health and healthcare IT.
