This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +4 more states.
• Oversee daily commercial installation and repair operations.
• Ensure that customers have an outstanding experience during installation, service, and repair processes.
• Create and execute strategic plans aimed at enhancing customer experience and operational efficiency.
• Manage daily departmental functions while setting performance expectations and objectives.
• Review service orders and analyze trouble tickets to identify trends, service problems, and areas for improvement.
• Lead efforts in staffing, training, coaching, and performance management.
• Set work priorities and allocate resources to meet KPIs, service standards, and business goals.
• Prepare and present operational reports regarding performance, priorities, challenges, and outcomes.
• Monitor and control departmental spending to stay within budget constraints.
• Generate and analyze operational reports that track service levels, performance trends, and departmental outcomes.
• Recommend and/or approve departmental budgets, expenditures, and allocations.
• Carry out other related duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications or a related field, or five or more years of experience in field operations.
• Capability to read, analyze, and interpret general business publications, professional journals, and technical procedures.
• Proficiency in collecting, manipulating, and distributing data for effective root cause analysis.
• Ability to handle sensitive company information and client lists with discretion.
• Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively.
• Strong problem-solving and communication abilities.
• Skill in developing and training a technical field team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Understanding of OPEX and CAPEX in relation to field operations.
• Driven by goals and results.
• Experience in direct customer interactions.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Above-average proficiency in the MS Office suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Willingness to travel throughout designated territories.
• Previous tier II level management experience is advantageous.
• Experience with Head End operations related to content delivery is a plus.
• P&L responsibility experience is beneficial.
• Familiarity with installing, documenting, operating, and maintaining customized data and telecommunication network solutions.
• Knowledge of Network Infrastructure Engineering, Network Security, 802.11 Wireless, Voice over IP, Metro-E, Wi-Fi and Managed Wi-Fi, complex network configurations, technical support, and training.
• Understanding of broadband technologies, including the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Fiber Optic, Wi-Fi, and private line services.
• Advanced working knowledge of Ethernet networks, TCP/IP connections, routing protocols, Wi-Fi, and VoIP codecs.
• High school diploma required.
• Working knowledge of AC/DC theory as it relates to telecommunications.
• Candidate must reside in Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Ohio, or Virginia.
