Manager, Informatics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +29 more states.

📋 Description

• Investigate and resolve issues related to SSRS reports, Power BI dashboards, SSIS packages, scheduled jobs, and associated data processes.

• Deploy SSRS and Power BI reports in accordance with team standards and established deployment protocols.

• Utilize automated processes for the deployment of stored procedures to team databases.

• Develop, maintain, and provide support for SSIS packages that extract production data, prepare SFTP files, and load vendor data into team databases.

• Assist with scheduled jobs and enterprise scheduling processes, including identifying and resolving issues.

• Update and maintain applications developed by the team.

• Collaborate with technical and business teams to gather requirements, address issues, and facilitate solution delivery.

• Ensure the reliability of reporting, databases, and applications.

• Contribute to the documentation, standards, and consistency of processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in application support, database support, informatics, or a related technical field.

• Proficient experience with Microsoft SQL Server.

• Practical experience in SSIS package development, support, and troubleshooting.

• Experience in supporting and deploying SSRS reports and Power BI dashboards.

• Familiarity with Visual Studio.

• Experience with GitHub or similar source control systems.

• Knowledge of enterprise scheduling tools, scheduled jobs, and troubleshooting job failures.

• Programming proficiency in VB.NET and C#.

• Experience in developing or supporting automated deployment processes for database objects such as stored procedures.

• Experience in extracting, transforming, and loading data between production systems, vendor files, and internal databases.

• Familiarity with secure file transfer processes like SFTP.

• Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem-solving capabilities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Informatics, or a related discipline, or a comparable combination of education and experience.
