This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Lead and nurture the Incident Response practice and team at Arctic Wolf.
• Ensure the provision of consistent, scalable, and high-quality Incident Response services.
• Define, monitor, manage, and allocate incident response engagements.
• Stay informed about ongoing investigations and recovery efforts, escalating issues as necessary.
• Establish case management protocols, resource planning, scheduling, workload balancing, key performance indicators (KPIs), service metrics, and operational reporting.
• Create processes, standards, quality assurance measures, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Review incident reports, executive summaries, investigative findings, and deliverables for customers.
• Provide technical leadership during engagements and forensic operations.
• Direct and assist with advanced digital forensic and incident response investigations across Windows, Linux, macOS, Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud.
• Guide activities related to containment, eradication, recovery, and remediation.
• Formulate investigation strategies and incident response plans.
• Act as a senior trusted advisor during cybersecurity incidents.
• Communicate findings to executives, legal counsel, insurance carriers, and technical stakeholders.
• Lead scoping and planning for engagements; support strategies for cyber extortion and ransomware negotiations.
• Present recovery plans, findings, and recommendations to customers.
• Cultivate relationships with customers, legal counsel, cyber insurance carriers, and strategic partners.
• Assist in business development, industry events, and thought leadership initiatives.
• Collaborate with Directors and Executive Leadership on strategic growth plans.
• Propel automation, innovation, tooling, reporting, analytics, quality assurance, and enhancements in customer experience.
• Work alongside teams in Product, Engineering, Security Operations, Concierge, MDR, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, workforce planning, and organizational scaling efforts.
• Participate in evening, weekend, holiday, and escalation on-call rotations.
• Conduct peer reviews, quality evaluations, and case audits.
• Maintain technical certifications and pursue professional development goals.
• Over 3 years of experience in leading technical teams, managing people, or directing service delivery organizations.
• Proven experience in managing complex cyber incident investigations and recovery processes.
• In-depth knowledge of host, network, cloud, and enterprise forensic analysis.
• Experience in managing customer-facing engagements that involve legal counsel, cyber insurance carriers, and executive stakeholders.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.
• Experience in developing operational processes, performance metrics, and quality assurance programs.
• Capability to lead multiple simultaneous initiatives and prioritize effectively in high-pressure situations.
• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
• Background checks are mandatory.
• The offer may be contingent upon authorization to receive software or technologies governed by U.S. export control laws and regulations.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Digital Forensics, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Preferred: Industry certifications such as GCFA, GCFE, CISSP, GCIH, EnCE, ACE, or equivalent.
• Preferred: Experience in consulting, managed security services, or incident response service organizations.
• Preferred: Experience presenting at industry conferences, customer events, or technical forums.
• Preferred: Experience supporting large-scale enterprise incident response programs and global service delivery teams.
