This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +2 more states.
• Oversee a team of presales professionals across various presales roles, including Technical Consultant, Technical Client Consultant, and Enterprise Architects.
• Establish direction, manage deliverables, and meet revenue and expense targets.
• Address customer issues and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Act as a representative for the designated area to sales and company leadership.
• Develop strategic relationships with external clients and internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with both internal and external resources to create top-tier customer solutions.
• Supervise individual and team performance while fostering employee growth and development.
• Formulate presales utilization plans that align with regional needs and opportunities.
• Work with colleagues to fill regional coverage gaps and utilize technical expertise to seize opportunities.
• Support sales strategy and account planning; prioritize and steer resource allocation with sales and field teams.
• Evaluate sales pipelines to guarantee timely presales support.
• Oversee, troubleshoot, and enhance operations within the area of control.
• Create business recommendations using insights from business, financial, and legal perspectives.
• Guide employees through sales challenges and manage both high and low performers.
• Inspire presales teams and assist in the pursuit and closing of deals.
• Promote skill-building initiatives and maintain robust technical knowledge across the group.
• Tailor solutions to meet client requirements and mentor on consultative-selling strategies.
• Develop business cases that connect proposals to customer objectives, strategies, metrics, industry, and competitive factors.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent university qualification.
• Over 6 years of experience in sales.
• More than 3 years of directly related management experience, demonstrating success in supporting progressively higher quotas or other sales-related objectives.
• Proven project management capabilities.
• Specialized knowledge in relevant areas, either broad or deep.
• Understanding of business management, including forecasting, budget control, and operations.
• Knowledge in resource allocation and brokering.
• Experience managing business processes.
• Familiarity with strategic account support and business development.
• Strong negotiation skills within the organization.
• Proficient in consultative and solution-selling techniques.
• Excellent presentation and communication abilities.
• Capacity to cultivate strong customer relationships.
• Knowledge of workforce planning, career development, coaching, performance management, and skill enhancement.
