This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +2 more states.
• Oversee a team of presales professionals involved in technical consulting, technical client consulting, and enterprise architecture functions.
• Define direction, manage deliverables, and meet revenue and expense targets.
• Address customer issues and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Act as the representative for the designated area to sales and company management.
• Cultivate strategic executive relationships with external clients and internal stakeholders as needed.
• Collaborate with internal and external resources to create best-in-class customer solutions.
• Manage both individual and team performance while fostering employee growth and development.
• Create presales utilization plans in accordance with requirements and opportunities.
• Work with peers to fill regional presales coverage gaps and utilize technical expertise effectively.
• Collaborate with Sales and account planning teams to prioritize and allocate presales resources.
• Evaluate sales pipelines to ensure prompt utilization of presales support.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance operations within the area of control.
• Formulate business recommendations utilizing business, financial, and legal concepts.
• Guide employees through sales challenges and manage both high and low performers.
• Inspire presales teams and assist in pursuing and closing deals.
• Develop talent and manage skill-building initiatives.
• Support sales teams in tailoring solutions to meet client needs.
• Mentor on consultative-selling techniques and foster trusted-advisor relationships.
• Construct business cases that link proposals to customer objectives, strategies, and business metrics.
• A University or Bachelor's degree is required.
• A minimum of 6 years of experience in sales.
• At least 3 years of directly related management experience demonstrating successful achievement of progressively higher quotas or sales goals.
• Proven project management skills.
• Additional specialized knowledge in either breadth or depth is beneficial.
• Understanding of business management, forecast/budget control, operations, resource allocation, and business process management.
• Knowledge in business development and strategic account support.
• Proficiency in negotiation within the company.
• Skills in consultative selling, presentation, and communication.
• Ability to cultivate strong customer relationships.
• Expertise in consultative, solution-selling, and business development.
• Experience in workforce planning, career development, workforce management, coaching, and supervision.
