This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +2 more states.
β’ Oversee a team of presales professionals engaged in technical consulting, technical client consulting, and enterprise architecture roles.
β’ Establish strategic direction, manage deliverables, and meet revenue and expense targets.
β’ Address customer issues and enhance customer satisfaction.
β’ Serve as the representative for the designated area to sales personnel and company management.
β’ Cultivate strategic executive relationships with both external clients and internal stakeholders.
β’ Collaborate with internal and external resources to create top-tier customer solutions.
β’ Supervise the performance, growth, and development of individual contributors and the team.
β’ Oversee presales account support or shared-resource initiatives.
β’ Develop presales utilization plans that align with requirements and opportunities.
β’ Work with colleagues to resolve regional presales coverage gaps and utilize technical expertise effectively.
β’ Assist in formulating sales strategy and coordinate resources with sales managers based on pipeline demands.
β’ Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance operations within the area of control.
β’ Generate business recommendations using principles of business, finance, and law.
β’ Mentor employees through sales challenges and manage both high and low performers.
β’ Inspire presales teams and facilitate the pursuit and closing of sales deals.
β’ Cultivate talent and promote skill-building initiatives.
β’ Ensure a robust technical understanding within the presales team.
β’ Assist sales teams in customizing solutions to meet client requirements.
β’ Teach consultative selling techniques and foster trusted-advisor relationships.
β’ Create business cases that connect proposals to customer objectives, strategies, and business metrics.
β’ Bachelor's degree or equivalent university qualification.
β’ More than 6 years of experience in sales.
β’ At least 3 years of relevant management experience with proven success in supporting progressively higher quotas or other sales-related objectives.
β’ Proven project management capabilities.
β’ Additional specialized knowledge in a wide or deep area.
β’ Understanding of business management, budget/forecast control operations, resource allocation/brokering, and business process management.
β’ Knowledge of business development and strategic account support.
β’ Negotiation skills applicable within the organization.
β’ Proficient in consultative selling, presentation, and communication.
β’ Ability to forge strong customer relationships.
β’ Skills in consultative, solution selling, and business development.
β’ Experience in workforce planning, career development, workforce management, coaching, and supervision.
β’ Prompt management of underperformers.
