Manager, Health Economics, Market Access – VELYS Knee

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of HEMA projects and initiatives that foster market expansion opportunities for the VELYS Knee platform.

• Offer insights into product pipeline initiatives, including target product profiles, economic value propositions, and strategies for evidence generation and planning.

• Lead projects focused on evidence generation to establish product value.

• Execute reimbursement strategies that facilitate market access and ensure commercial success for the VELYS Knee platform.

• Create value tools such as value dossiers, value analysis briefs, economic models, and initiatives for dissemination.

• Support and coordinate the efforts of HEMA associates towards achieving commercial business objectives, without direct management responsibilities.

• Collaborate with regional HEMA partners and cross-functional teams, including Medical Affairs, Clinical Research, Marketing, Professional Education, Regulatory Affairs, and Legal.

• Report directly to the Director of HEMA.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a health sciences-related field is required.

• An advanced degree (MS, MPH, PhD, MHA, MBA) in health economics, outcomes research, or a healthcare-related field is preferred.

• At least 5 years of professional experience in medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or HEOR consulting is required.

• Ability to navigate from strategy development to execution and value creation within a dynamic and fast-paced global organization, with minimal oversight.

• Experience in health services research, health economics, outcomes research, market access, health policy, and reimbursement.

• Proven experience in developing global market access assessments and strategies for evidence generation.

• Capacity to build partnerships and engage with multi-functional teams to contribute insights and influence decision-making.

• Ability to effectively operate in a matrix environment and demonstrate strong influence capabilities.

• Experience working within decentralized and cross-functional business models.

• Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills; proficiency in clear and concise communication.

• Strong analytical skills.

• Understanding of data collection and review practices.

• A proactive, highly responsible, and accountable approach.

• Up to 20% travel may be required.
