This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada, +1 more country.
• Take ownership of HEMA projects and initiatives that support market expansion opportunities for the VELYS Knee platform.
• Contribute to product pipeline projects, which includes defining target product profiles, economic value propositions, and strategies and plans for evidence generation.
• Lead projects focused on evidence generation to establish the value of the product.
• Develop and implement reimbursement strategies that facilitate market access and commercial success for the VELYS Knee platform.
• Create value tools such as value dossiers, value analysis briefs, economic models, and initiatives for dissemination.
• Assist and coordinate with HEMA associates to support commercial business objectives without having direct management responsibilities.
• Collaborate with regional HEMA partners and cross-functional teams, including Medical Affairs, Clinical Research, Marketing, Professional Education, Regulatory Affairs, and Legal.
• Report directly to the Director of HEMA.
• Work closely with both US and global business partners.
• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a health sciences-related field is essential.
• An advanced degree (MS, MPH, PhD, MHA, MBA) in health economics, outcomes research, or a healthcare-related field is preferred.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or HEOR consulting is required.
• Experience in health services research, health economics, outcomes research, market access, health policy, and reimbursement is necessary.
• Proven experience in developing global market access assessments and strategies for evidence generation.
• Ability to cultivate partnerships and engage with multi-functional teams to provide input and influence decisions.
• Capability to work effectively in a matrix environment and demonstrate influence skills.
• Experience in decentralized and cross-functional business models is advantageous.
• Strong presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
• Good analytical abilities.
• Familiarity with data collection and review practices.
• Capacity to manage strategy development through execution and value creation in a dynamic, fast-paced global organization with minimal oversight.
• A proactive, highly responsible, and accountable approach is essential.
• This role is remote-based with up to 20% travel required.
