This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the preliminary assessment and management of compliance issues related to potential breaches of Global Trade regulations and policies.
• Carry out initial inquiries to ascertain if any violations of Global Trade laws or policies have taken place.
• Analyze claims through interviews and examination of documents.
• Partner with the broader Global Trade team on investigative efforts.
• Handle an active caseload utilizing RTX’s GT360 matter-management software.
• Update Collins Aerospace leadership on ongoing Global Trade investigations.
• Create and document corrective measures to address policy infractions.
• Record the closure of cases where there is no reasonable suspicion of regulatory infringement.
• Monitor and evaluate employee-related losses of company assets and identify potential policy or regulatory breaches.
• Oversee and assess employee travel to identify potential policy or regulatory violations.
• Generate reports from compliance and operational systems to identify actionable trends.
• Participate in Collins Aerospace’s Central Global Trade Investigations & Disclosures team within the Legal, Contracts, and Compliance departments.
• Ultimately report to the Director of the I&D team.
• Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related discipline with at least 5 years of experience.
• Proficient in Excel.
• U.S. citizenship is mandatory, as only U.S. citizens are permitted to access information under this program/contract.
• Familiarity with export control laws, including the Export Administration Regulations and International Traffic in Arms Regulations.
• Previous experience in conducting global trade investigations.
• Background in the aerospace or manufacturing sector.
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks, meet various deadlines concurrently, and provide effective guidance and practical solutions for cross-functional projects in a timely manner.
• Capacity to remain calm and composed in a fast-paced environment under pressure.
• Initiative to proactively tackle compliance concerns and fulfill deliverables with minimal supervision.
