Manager, Global Investigator Grants – LATAM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Acts as the financial lead for the Project Team in terms of grant administration on a global scale.

• Manages the grant administration team which encompasses, but is not limited to: budget oversight and maintenance, prompt and precise investigator payment processing, advance (prepaid funds) reconciliations, and reporting.

• Responsible for the development of global investigator grant workbooks, which involves interpreting the financial components of the Clinical Trial Agreement (CTA) to ensure a timely and accurate payment process.

• Contributes to the month-end closing process by generating global reports on a project-by-project basis, including but not limited to: invoiced/paid amounts, remaining advance balances, prepaid balance analysis, projections, and other relevant key performance indicators.

• Collaborates with Project Directors and Project Managers to offer guidance on the financial aspects of the Clinical Trial Agreement.

• Works alongside Project Directors and Project Managers to provide insights on how to fill out the site payment workbook, ensuring that visits eligible for payment are accurately tracked and processed; offers training as needed.

• Oversees the Sunshine Act Reporting process and other client-related reporting as necessary on a global level.

• Manages and processes payments to sites in accordance with the terms and conditions outlined in the Clinical Trial Agreement.

• Participates in internal team meetings, client discussions, and Quarterly Business Review meetings as required.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• At least 5 years of experience in Clinical Research or equivalent relevant experience.

• A minimum of 3 years in a leadership capacity.

• Familiarity with the clinical trial payment process on an international level.

• Experience with clinical trial agreements and site budgets.

• Strong understanding of the study start-up process.

• Excellent analytical skills.

• Outstanding time management abilities.

• Capable of analyzing, reconciling, and communicating financial results with all levels of the project team, investigator sites, and clients.
