This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +4 more states.
β’ Oversee the daily management of global employee benefits programs, which include health and welfare, retirement and pension plans, leave programs, and wellbeing initiatives.
β’ Provide guidance and direction to benefits team members concerning program execution, escalations, service delivery standards, and global governance.
β’ Lead the coordination and governance of global benefits renewals across various markets.
β’ Ensure adherence to regulatory and statutory requirements across different jurisdictions.
β’ Collaborate with Payroll, Finance, Legal, HR Technology, and external vendors regarding deductions, funding, reconciliations, reporting, and compliance.
β’ Supervise global benefits administration platforms, systems, data integrity, configuration governance, access controls, and vendor performance.
β’ Manage vendor relationships across multiple countries, focusing on performance management, service-level monitoring, renewals, contracts, and implementations.
β’ Monitor the performance of benefits operations and implement scalable process improvements and internal controls.
β’ Assist with annual benefits cycles, open enrollment, statutory updates, and employee communications.
β’ Maintain comprehensive documentation of global benefits policies, procedures, controls, and governance standards.
β’ Provide reporting and analysis on participation, costs, vendor performance, utilization, and financial impacts.
β’ Collaborate with HR Technology and Payroll teams on tracking benefits data, integration, governance, reporting controls, audits, and standardization.
β’ Interpret and administer policies and procedures affecting direct reports and team workflows.
β’ Adjust departmental plans and priorities, address resource and operational challenges, and contribute to budgets and performance standards.
β’ Make informed decisions guided by policies, procedures, business plans, and independent judgment.
β’ Work collaboratively with teams, clients, functional peer managers, and senior management; actively participate in and present at internal and external meetings.
β’ Execute additional duties as required to meet business needs.
β’ 6-8 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years in a management role.
β’ Proven experience in benefits administration within a corporate setting.
β’ Knowledge of employee benefits regulations and compliance standards.
β’ Experience in supervising or coordinating the work of others.
β’ Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a keen attention to detail.
β’ Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
β’ Effective communication and collaboration skills with stakeholders.
β’ Experience supporting benefits programs across multiple countries or regions.
β’ Familiarity with vendor management or benefits renewals.
β’ Professional certification related to benefits or human resources is a plus.
β’ A first-level and/or advanced university degree is preferred.
